Tanja Knorr-Sobiech is working for Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart, Germany, since 1996.
The Bosch Group is one of the world`s leading international providers of technology and services. With currently roughly 300.000 associates and a sales volume of 46,1 billion Euros in 2013. To get a highly connected company Bosch started the Enterprise 2.0 project in 2012 and is currently Benchmark for Enterprise 2.0 implementation among other companies with comparable size.
As the former assistant of the IT Board of Management, Tanja Knorr-Sobiech, was well known since several years as an excellent networker and a social media fan. Due to this fact Bosch offered her in 2012 the position as the first Bosch Corporate Community Manager in the Bosch IT Division. She was responsible for one of the first Light-House-Use-Cases “IT Management Community” and her “IT Global Community” (the guy on the picture above is her Community Mascot “IT-George”) is currently a role model for the whole Bosch Organization.
In parallel she is working in close collaboration with the Bosch central project “Enabling Enterprise 2.0 @ Bosch” on topics about the new role of Corporate Community Management. She is Consultant regarding Community Conception and Ramp-Up for the whole Bosch IT division.
Since a few months she is the first official Chief Corporate Community Manager @ Bosch which means she is coordinator and contact person for, at the moment, about 150 Community Managers worldwide within the IT division.

In her private life she is mother of a 4 years old son.
