As the Global Head of Community and Social Media at global electronics distributor, Premier Farnell, Dianne is responsible for leading social media strategy and online community engagement through element14, the leading global community for electronic design engineers. Dianne led the development and introduction of element14 in 2011, providing a global forum for engineers to collaborate, learn about new technology, solve problems and access leading products to complete their designs. The community has gone on to promote new innovation through global design challenges. In 2012, element14 was the winner of the Forrester Groundswell award for supporting B2B customers and Jive’s Customer award for engaging customers.
Dianne is responsible for guiding the ongoing community development, content strategy, campaigns, online listening, measurement and organizational improvement for community and social media engagement. Dianne earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University and Master’s in Entrepreneurial Business from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
